Very High Bond Acrylic Tapes
ADCO AT-2 Very High Bond Acrylic Tape is specially formulated for
the attachment of interior and exterior aluminum, wood and vinyl muntin bars. The grey
acrylic foam tape is compressible making wet-out on the bar faster and easier. AT-2
possesses a uniform high-tack acrylic adhesive on both sides and will provide
a high strength bond to clean, dry, oil-free surfaces. The tape is formulated
to withstand a wide range of weathering and temperature conditions without
hardening or becoming brittle. Muntin bar attachment tape is also available
in a double sided, solid acrylic, water-clear version called AT-1.
ADCO AT-1 is also the ideal choice to use as a “Spacer Tape” during the production
of cast resin (liquid laminate) units.
ADCO Very High Bond Acrylic tapes can be applied by hand, by using a specially designed hand-applicator tool supplied by ADCO, or by a semi-automated muntin bar machine. Instant pressure sensitive bonding makes application fast and easy.
