U-Channel Spacer Frame Machines
Single seal automated application equipment for residential insulated glass units.
U-Channel machines are designed to produce warm-edge insulating units at a high rate
and reduced cost. They include spacer designs and sealants that reduce perimeter heat loss,
structural stress from temperature changes and condensation, while increasing energy efficiency
of homes and building in which the units are installed. Intercept IG spacer flexes instead of
the sealant during temperature change, so it resists spacer movement and sealant failure.
U-Channel IG frame machine works in conjunction with a linear-U sealant extruder and desiccant applicator. RECOMMENDED Products: ADCO InterSeal® DSA-4002HS is formulated for use on this line. ADCOTHERM 3070 is also available and recommended where "DSE" type performance is not required. |
