1-Part Silicone GD-823N is a neutral curing one-part silicone sealant that reacts with atmospheric moisture to form a durable and flexible secondary seal. GD-823N is particularly suitable for sealing insulated glass units that have exposed edges such as windows in commercial buildings, greenhouses and conservatories. Like any silicone sealant, GD-823N cannot be used in the manufacture of gas-filled units without a PIB primary sealant. GD-823N is particularly suitable as a secondary edge seal in multipane insulating glass units. GD-823N is supplied as a one-part, ready to use material. The product is available in pails or drums. Application is possible by using standard industrial dispensing equipment.
