2-Part Silicone IG-882 and IG-882SG is a neutral curing two-part silicone sealant that forms a durable and flexible secondary seal. IG-882 is particularly suitable for sealing insulated glass units that have exposed edges such as windows in commercial buildings, greenhouses and conservatories. Like any silicone sealant, IG-882 cannot be used in the manufacture of gas-filled units without a PIB primary sealant. IG-882 is particularly suitable as a secondary edge seal in multipane insulating glass units. IG-882SG is used where IG units will be structurally glazed. IG-882 is used for most other applications, including residential. IG-882 is supplied as a two-part, ready to use material. Application is possible by using standard industrial dispensing equipment.
