ADCO Manufacturing Capabilities

Following through on Great Product Concepts

Developing high-performing adhesives and sealants concepts is one thing; converting them into great products is another. ADCO excels in both areas. Fully integrated from R&D to process technology development, to the manufacturing floor, ADCO translates cutting-edge concepts into finished products with performance properties unlike other commercially available adhesives and sealants. Significant expertise in the areas of compounding, extruding, casting, laminating and die-cutting mean that finished products perform as expected in demanding manufacturing, assembly applications and construction environments. All facilities in the United States and in Germany hold ISO 9001 registration, the internationally recognized quality management standard.

Quality Assurance from Start to Finish

Because attachment between adhesive and substrate is made possible by various means - through mechanical or chemical mechanisms - adhesion strength depends on a range of factors. ADCO utilizes a series of test methodologies in establishing the performance of its adhesive products, and through quality assurance testing at various points in the manufacturing process, ensure finished products meet or exceed those benchmarks.

We do not stop there! Every batch of finished adhesive product produced at ADCO is also tested by our quality assurance team. When you order adhesives from ADCO, order with confidence. ADCO material testing and quality assurance labs hold ISO 9001 / TS 16949 certification. Adhesive products designated for specific markets will also be tested in accordance with industry organizations, such as AGRSS, UL, FM and AAMA.

Committed to Safety

ADCO is dedicated to protecting public health and the quality of the environment, and the health and safety of our employees, our customers and our neighbors:

• By holding every employee responsible for implementing our safety practices and our corporate safety policy;
• By manufacturing and selling only those products which can be manufactured and used safely when appropriate work practices are followed;
• By developing and using technology and processes to prevent adverse impact from company operations on public health, employee health and the environment;
• By providing leadership within our business segments to establish effective environmental, safety and occupational health standards

All of these practices allow ADCO to maintain an OSHA rate significantly below the industry average.
